She’s not a big NFL fan but when it comes to the Super Bowl halftime show, Isla Fisher is quick to throw out suggestions.

“[Keeping Up With The Joneses co-stars] Zach Galfinaskis and Jon Hamm and Gal Gadot and me do an Abba track. Do ‘Mamma Mia’, dressed up in Abba costumes.”

Gadot wasn’t so sure.

“Do ‘Mamma Mia’ out of everything?” she asked.

But Fisher persisted.

“But you need a band that has two girls and two guys,” she insisted.

Gadot paused and then someone suggested The Mamas And The Papas.

“That’d be better,” Fisher agreed. “Zach’s got that beard.”

“Done,” Gadot agreed. “OK, we’ll do it.”

In their new movie, Gadot plays half of a covert spy couple that moves in next door to Fisher and Galfinaskis,  a normal suburban couple who get lured into Gadot and Hamm’s international web of espionage.

“It’s a bit like Mr. and Mrs. Smith,” Fisher said. “If there were a couple of hobbits living next door, me and Zach.”

So what was it like playing the wives of Hamm and Galfinaskis?

“Listen,” Fisher said. “They’re very good looking but nothing beats Gal. I really wanted Gal to play my husband.”
